Magnetfabrik Bonn is a medium-sized family-run company founded 90 years ago. From the very beginning, we have been a pioneer in the field of permanent magnet production– a role which we continue to fulfill today.
It is on this unique development and production experience as well as the expertise gained from thousands of real-life cases that we draw on to offer our customers reliable, tailor-made, economic solutions.
Our operations focus on application-related consultancy and the development and manufacture of high-quality products and systems, specifically in the field of polymer-bonded permanent magnets. We rely on research and development, the special skills of our employees, intensive dialogue with our customers and highly automated production at our company site in Bonn.

Magnetfabrik Bonn supplied a magnet system for a measurement system developed by Professor von Zahn which traveled to Venus with the NASA probe Pioneer Venus 2 and was successfully used to measure the composition of the atmosphere.

Automotive
It is precisely in the automotive industry, a sector where magnets are used for an enormous variety of applications, that the employed components need to demonstrate absolute precision, reliable operation and a long service life. As a specialist in the production of polymer-bonded permanent magnets and with our specialist knowledge of sensor technology, we have become established as one of the leading international suppliers.

Nowadays, machine and motor construction would not be possible without magnets. Typical uses for our magnets in this sector are position recognition, distance measurement, engine speed detection, angle measurement and drive technology.
